Boys Bowling Season Ends At Districts

Milford’s boys bowling team’s year has concluded, as they were unable to qualify for the State Tournament following an impressive season.

The Milford boys bowling team competed at Districts on Wed., March 1st and placed 20th of the 24 teams competing.  Senior Noah Dolezal ended his MHS career by leading the Eagles with a 467 three game high series. 

Classmate Jeremiah Mitchell’s three game series of 449 was close behind Dolezal, while junior Nathan McGeorge posted Milford’s high game of 221 amid a two game series of 393.  Josh Cooper added a 335 two game series, while the junior’s team and classmate Eugene Koczwara added a 192 in game three.

Alex Rieger of Oak Hills posted the tournament’s high series of 644 to claim the District championship.   No Eastern Cincinnati Conference individual or teams advanced to the State Championship. 

The top five teams who will advance to the State Tournament include Oak Hills, Centerville, Miamisburg, Butler and Wayne.
