Boys Swimming & Diving Dominate at ECC Championship, Break Four ECC Records

Tyler Babinec broke four conference records, including two relays, at the ECC Championships over the weekend.

Babinec won the 100 Yard Butterfly (52.98) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (58.48) en route to his record-setting day. On the relay side, he was joined by fellow Eagles Jarod Higgins, Chase Fisher, and Sam Leatherwood, as the Milford quad set the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:29.67) and 400 Yard Freestyle (3:18.66) Relay records.

Chase Fisher was a two-time individual champion for MHS after finishing the 100 Yard Freestyle in 48.96 and the 50 Yard Freestyle in 22.48.

Katey Pena, Megan Krieger, Lauren Bell and Abby Leatherwood joined forces to finish fourth in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:52.17.

Boys 100 Yard Backstroke

3rd Place — Sam Leatherwood — 57.42
