Jack Hannah Caps Career With Second Straight All-American Honor

Posted on: June 13, 2017

Senior Jack Hannah put another exclamation point on his outstanding prep lacrosse career as US Lacrosse has tabbed him an All-American for the second straight season. Hannah also earned the accolade as a junior when lacrosse was a school-sponsored club sport at Milford.

Hannah, set to join perennial collegiate power the University of Denver in the fall, was honored with a lengthy list of awards during his senior season. In addition to the All-American nod, Hannah was named an OHSLCA All-State first team member and the OHSAA Regional and Eastern Cincinnati Conference Player of the Year. He finished the season tied for sixth in the ECC in both goals (47) and assists (26).

Hannah, along with teammate Max Roth, both recently were selected to play in the Ohio High School Senior All-Star Challenge presented by the Lax Shop and hosted by the Ohio Machine of the MLL. The round robin set of exhibition games featured the best from the North, Central and South regions taking on each other prior to a recent Machine home game.

In the first-ever varsity boys lacrosse season, Milford finished with a 13-5 record and a share of the inaugural ECC Championship, before advancing to the OHSAA Regional Semifinals where they fell to top-ranked St. Xavier.
