MHS Competition Cheer Team Wins National Championship

Milford’s Competition Cheer Team was awarded the Varsity Non Mount Traditional Championship at the recent AmeriCheer 2017 InterNational Competition on March 18 & March 19 at Walt Disney World Resort.

The Eagles, made up of cheerleaders from all grade levels at the high school, won the competition with a score of over 95% following performances on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Eagles earned an automatic InBid to the InterNational Championship when they won both the National Champion Division Champion and National Champion Grand Champion titles at the AmeriCheer Buckeye Scarlet Open National Championship in Columbus in November, 2016. At every AmeriCheer and Eastern Cheer Competition throughout the year, up to three InBids were awarded.
