Postseason Continues For Boys Bowling
With a third place finish, Milford’s boys bowling team has advanced to the Division I OHSAA District Tournament.
Of sixteen teams in the Sectional, the boys place third behind Mason and Middletown. Other schools competing included Lakota East, Glen Este, Amelia, Loveland, Talawanda, Hamilton, Lakota West, Elder, Fairfield, Sycamore, LaSalle, Moeller, and Wilmington.
The boys were led by junior Nathan McGeorge with a 639 three game series, followed by classmate Eugene Koczwara with a 586 series. Senior Noah Dolezal finished with a 560 in three games, and Josh Cooper, a junior, added a two game total of 417 pins. Jeremiah Mitchell’s final season will continue with the win, and the senior contributed a 145 in game one.

UP NEXT: Milford, one of the top seven teams to advance, will travel to the OHSAA District Tournament next week. Milford, Mason and Middletown will be joined at the Sectional tournament by Sycamore, LaSalle, Wilmington and Elder.
The boys Division I District Tournament will be held on Wed., March 1st at Beaver-Vu Lanes near Dayton.
