Congrats to the Eagles last night for their 2-1 victory over McAuley! Milford is unbeaten so far this season at 3-0-2. It was also a historic game for Milford Head Coach Patrick Winkler who reached his 100th career win! Winkler has been Milford’s Head Girls Soccer Coach since 2005 (8th season this year) and now has a career record of 100 wins, 27 losses and 12 ties. His teams have won four conference championships in a row (2008, ’09, ’10, ’11). He has earned conference “Coach of the Year” honors five times (2006, ‘08, ’09, ’10, ’11) and All-City “Coach of the Year” honors once (2008). Winkler coached two District Championship teams (2006, ’11) and one Regional Runner-Up team (2011). Prior to becoming Milford’s head coach, Winkler was an assistant coach at CCD. Milford’s next home game is on Saturday 9/8 at 6 pm vs. Wayne HS!
