The Varsity Home Opener is Wednesday, March 31 @ 4:30 PM vs. William Henry Harrison High School.
With seven returning starters from 2009 expectations are running high for the 2010 Milford Varsity Softball Team. With an offseason emphasis on improving the offense the Eagles look to be more consistent with their bats. Constantly pressuring the opposing pitching staff is key for the 2010 squad.
On the mound the Eagles return a strong pitching staff led by Sarah Alley. In 2009 Sarah set the single season strikeout record and looks to rewrite the record books one more time.
The combination of hard work, talent, strong pitching, and solid hitting should make for an exciting season of Eagles Softball!! Coach Christy Foster, and her staff, cannot wait for the start of the season!!
With construction of the new spring facilities still on-going, the Eagles will once again play their home games at Tealtown Ballpark located @ 4762 Tealtown Road.
See you at the park!!
