Shawn Taylor qualified to regionals in both the 110 high hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Nick Regueyra qualified to regionals in the 800m run, finishing 1st in the district with a time of 1:57.62.
Following District Track Meet...Nick missed a school record in 800 M by .5 second
The Regional meet starts at 4:30 on Wednesday, Shawn will run around 5pm for the 110H and my best guess will be around 5:30 to 5:40 for the 300H. He has to be top 4 in his heat to advance on to Friday. Nick will run on Friday at 6:20pm. If Shawn qualifies to Friday the 110H will be 5:35 and the 300H will be at 6:10.
Congratulations to senior Reggie Carson who broke the Milford High School Triple Jump record on Friday (4/30/10) at the Anderson Track/Field Invitational. Reggie marked a jump of 41’ 1” on his final attempt. The former record was held by Mike Bode with a mark of 39’ 8” set in 2001.

Boys win Milford Eagles Relays Invitational by 14 points with victories in the Meter Shuttle Hurdles, 300 Meter Hurdles, 4x400 Meter Relay, Long Jump and Shot Put. The Boys next meet is the “Run ‘Em All” on April 10 @ 10:00 @ Anderson High School.

After finishing 3rd in 2009 coach Eric Kroell expects his Varsity Track Team to contend for the FAVC championship this season!!
The 2010 Track Team features two returning FAVC champions in Nick Regueyra: 4x800 and David Bryant: 4x800 and 3200. In addition, the team will have second team FAVC returners in Shawn Taylor: 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 4x200 runner plus Reggie Carson: 4x200. David Bryant, Nick Regueyra, and Shawn Taylor also qualified to the Regional meet last year.
Last year’s success has everyone excited for the start of the 2010 season. The first meet is at Harrison on April 1st. The first home meet is scheduled for April 06. Please check the schedule link for updated times and dates.
