The Milford High School Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Alison McClure has committed to continue her academic and athletic career as a member of the women's swimming and water polo teams at Penn State University beginning this fall.

McClure earned All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference honorable mention honors this winter after earning a sixth place finish in the 200 freestyle. She also qualified to participate at the 2016 Southwest District Championships as a member of both the 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay squads. During the fall water polo season, McClure helped the Eagles place fifth in the State of Ohio and finish with a 19-14-2 record.

At Penn State, McClure will compete for head coach Tim Murphy who just completed his third season as the head coach of the Nittany Lions. Alison is the daughter of Ed and Liz McClure.

McClure’s commitment brings the total number for the MHS Class of 2016 to 15. Further signee information will be shared throughout the 2015-16 academic year as it is finalized.
