GAME REWIND
Milford overcame a 3-0 deficit with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Eagles handed league-leading Walnut Hills its first ECC defeat of the year, a 5-3 final score. MHS used four hits, including a trio of three-baggers in the decisive inning to knock off Walnut.

The day’s scoring got started with Walnut scoring twice in the fourth and adding another in the top of the fifth. In the bottom of the fifth, a Jake Mills RBI single got the Eagles rolling, before back-to-back two baggers by Bryce Perkins and Baker tied the game. A Walnut error produced the fourth run of the inning, while in the sixth, a hustling Mills scored from second on a passed ball to wrap the day’s scoring.
