April 14 at Milford: Loveland 5, Milford 3

GAME REWIND
Another close ECC battle went the way of Loveland late as the Tigers scored four times in the top of the seventh to knock off Milford by a 5-3 final score. After leading throughout, Loveland’s Cole Carrigan connected on a bases loaded double that pushed the Tigers to the win.

The Eagles got the game off on the right foot as Jonathan Baker ripped a triple to lead off the game before scoring on a Tyler Hewlett single. Two more runs came across for Milford in the second on a Baker RBI single and a Jake Mills sacrifice fly.

Loveland got one of the runs back in the top of the third, but neither team scored again until the Tigers went ahead to stay in the final inning.
