April 15 at Ross Park: Roger Bacon 4, Milford 1

GAME REWIND
Milford was limited to just four hits by an outstanding pitching effort by Ryan Hallau as the Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision to Roger Bacon in a Reds Futures Showcase match-up. The Eagles got a solid starting pitching performance from freshman Louden Hilliard who allowed just two runs and two hits with eight strikeouts in four innings.

MHS got its only run of the night in the second inning when Bryce Perkins lifted a fly ball to center for a sacrifice fly that scored Jake Mills. Roger Bacon came right back to tie the game in its half of the second then added a single run in the fourth and two more in the fifth to score the win.

GAME REWIND
Milford’s offense was held in check for the second day in a row as Loveland limited the Eagles to five hits in a 4-1 victory. Despite a valiant pitching performance by Jonathan Baker, Milford fell behind 4-0 after five innings of play. The Eagles only run of the day came in the top of the sixth on an RBI single by Joel Sagraves that plated Jaxon Stickle.
