April 3 at Talawanda: Milford 8, Talawanda 4

GAME REWIND
Milford sent 12 men to the plate as part of an eight-run fifth inning explosion that propelled the Eagles to an 8-4 non-conference victory at Talawanda. While several Eagles contributed at the plate, on the hill it was sophomore Caleb Lambdin who turned in three sparkling innings of shutout relief, allowing just two hits to earn the win.

The two big hits of the fifth came off the bats of Mason Frank and Chad Lynn. Frank put the Eagles in front 6-3 with a two-RBI double, while Lynn rounded out Milford’s scoring for the day with a two-run single.

GAME REWIND
West Clermont proved too much on the mound and at the plate as the Wolves handed Milford a 13-0 setback. The Eagles were limited to just two singles on the day by Jonathan Baker and Brenton Hutzel.
