April 6 at Milford: Milford 7, Western Brown 7

GAME REWIND
Milford battled back from a 7-2 deficit with a five-run sixth inning outburst to ultimately force extra innings against Western Brown. But after nine innings and with darkness settling in, the game was halted with the score knotted at seven. The two teams hope to conclude the game later this season.

After falling behind 3-0 heading to the bottom of the second, the Eagles got a pair back in the frame, first when Jonathan Baker hit an RBI double before later scoring on a Bronco error. Milford’s one-run deficit didn’t last as WB scored four times in the top of the third to open a five-run cushion.

Heading to the bottom of the six, the Eagles still trailed 7-2 before Simon Bargo tallied an RBI single. Baker came up huge a few batters later, blasting a bases loaded triple to draw the home team back within 7-6. One batter later, Baker raced home on a Jake Mills sacrifice fly to tie the score.

Herrell helped himself in the fourth with an RBI triple and a run scored on a Brenton Hutzel sacrifice fly. One inning later, Harper Hendrickson and Louden Hilliard each had RBI singles as the Eagles blew the game open with the five-run frame.
