Baseball Report: March 31
March 31 at Milford: Kings 7, Milford 2
GAME REWIND
Five unearned runs in the final two innings doomed Milford as the Eagles dropped a 7-2 decision to Kings. After yielding a first inning run to the Knights, Milford took the lead in the bottom of the third on back-to-back run-scoring doubles by Jonathan Baker and Joel Sagraves.
But in the sixth, Kings strung together five hits, along with two Eagle errors, to push five runs across the plate. The Knights added an insurance run in the seventh to preserve the victory. Milford got a solid start on the hill from Brandon Neff who allowed just one unearned run and three hits in four innings of work.
