Roth started on the hill and was flawless, striking out seven of the nine hitters he faced. Becker took to the bump next, striking out three in two frames. At the plate, Milford’s offense had four hitters with two hits each. Adam Yoh tagged on his two hits with a trio of RBI.

April 10 at Milford: West Clermont 10, Milford 5

West Clermont’s six runs in the top of the second inning were enough for the Wolves to earn a 10-5 ECC win over Milford. WC later extended its lead to 10-1 after five and one-half innings before the Eagles tried to mount a comeback.

The Eagles got two of the runs back in the sixth on an RBI single by Hunter Frank and an Adam Yoh walk with the bases loaded. But the Eagles would ultimately leave the bases loaded in the frame. The seventh inning was more of the same as Max Ward lined a two-run double that drew the Eagles within the 10-5 line, but MHS would go on to leave two runners on, pushing its final total for the game to nine.
