Blake King Shines In SWOFCA All-Star Game

Posted on: June 10, 2018

Milford Class of 2018 graduate Blake King recently donned a high school football uniform one last time as he was a member of the winning East squad in the annual Ron Woyan Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association All-Star Game at Kings High School. King and his East teammates rallied late in the second half to come from behind and knock off the West team by a 34-19 score.

King, one of three quarterbacks on the East team, finished the night with 63 yards passing and 29 rushing, including a three-yard touchdown pass to Loveland’s Nate Webster III.

Following the game, King, bound for Wittenberg University in the fall, told the Cincinnati Enquirer that the game “was probably the most fun I’ve had in awhile. It was a blast getting to know these kids I played against every week. Coming together as a team, it was pretty cool.”
