December 18 at Winton Woods
Winton Woods got hot in the third quarter then turned back a spirited Milford comeback late as the Warriors picked up their first win of the year, a 57-50 win over the Eagles. With both team struggling to shoot in the first half, the Eagles clung to a 24-22 lead at the break. But in the third, WWHS made 7 of 10 field goals, including all six from behind the arc to outscore Milford 22-9 in the frame.

The Warriors appeared to be cruising to victory as they led 51-41 with 2:29 to play. But sloppy ball handling and missed free throws allowed Milford to score seven straight points to cut its deficit to just three at 51-48. The Warriors, though, were able to stop the bleeding, scoring six of the last eight points of the game to seal the victory.

Alex Hannah again led the Eagles, this time with 16 points and eight rebounds. Ibrahima Niang added his second double-double of the year, finishing with 14 points and 10 boards.
