December 4 at Kings
A game that featured a combined 22 three-pointers made and several momentum swings finally went the way of Milford as they hung on for a hard fought 60-53 win at Kings. For the second time in three nights, senior Alex Hannah posted a career-high in points, this time leading the Eagles with 19. It almost wasn’t enough as a spirited second-half comeback by Kings nearly allowed the hosts to overcome a 13-point halftime deficit.

Kings showed all night it would live and die by the three-pointer and ended the night making 12 three’s to just three two-point field goals. But the Eagles shooting was on target for much of the night as well as they rode a 57.7% first half shooting percentage, including seven made three-pointers, to a 37-24 halftime lead.

The third period was a different story as the Knights made five three-pointers, outscoring Milford 16-7 in the stanza to draw with 44-40 at the end of three. Kings was able to tie the score twice in the fourth at both 45 and 48, but once the count was knotted at 48, the Eagles used a 7-0 run over a stretch of about 2:45 to take control for good. Hannah connected on 3 of 4 free throws in the last 18 seconds to close it out.
