January 27 at West Clermont
Austin Bodley sparked Milford’s return to the court for the first time in nearly three weeks as he exploded for a career-high 23 points in the Eagles 61-56 victory at West Clermont. Bodley was sensational all night, making six three-pointers, including a pair on consecutive possessions with under two minutes left in the contest that snapped a 49-all tie.

The Eagles led throughout the first half and took a six-point lead into the break when Erich Morgan drilled a three, one of nine on the night for Milford, at the first half buzzer. The Wolves posted a 17-11 edge in the third to scrap back to tie the game at 38 apiece with eight minutes left to play.

The fourth quarter was a typical Milford-West Clermont battle that featured four ties. The Eagles never trailed by more than three in the period and took the lead for good on the Bodley back-to-back triples. Three free throws by Alex Hannah and two by Bodley in the final 33 seconds sealed the win.

In addition to Bodley heroics, Ibrahima Niang posted his fourth double-double of the year, finishing with 15 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. Bodley’s six three-pointers were the most by an Eagle since Jack Liles connected on six in a win over Lebanon on January 15, 2019.
