Despite some high scores, Milford lost a much-improved team from Loveland. Franklin Abt rolled a team high 215 single game to lead the Eagles in the loss to Loveland and recorded a 391 series. Nick Murphy was close behind Abt with a 386 series while A.J. Kaylor averaged a 161 for two games. Playing one game, Nathan Hawkins added a 111 in game two.
January 23 at Loveland: Milford 2448, Loveland 2401
The Eagles collected the victory over conference rival Loveland by just 47 pins to even the annual series. Milford was guided by a 392 series from Nick Murphy, followed by a 370 from Hawking and Kaylor’s 354 series. Singled games were added by Michael Kozakiewicz (161) and Fiest (159).
A LOOK INSIDE THE NUMBERS: West Clermont remained perfect improved to 7-0 with a victory over Kings, who follows at 5-2. Loveland (7-3) and Milford (4-4) split their matches, and are followed by Anderson (2-6) Walnut Hills (2-7) and Turpin at 1-6.
West Clermont is again atop the league in team average (962.3), followed by Milford (896.3), Loveland (869.3), Kings (843.1) and Anderson (838.9).
