GAME REWIND

Milford shot just 13% through the first three periods, but nearly pulled off the improbable win before coming up just a bucket short in a 35-33 defeat at Withrow. The offensive struggles weren’t limited to just the Eagles as Withrow led just 14-6 at the half and 25-13 after three quarters. After trailing by 12 just seconds into the fourth, the Eagles fought and clawed back, getting to within one point twice in the last minute. But trailing by one, Connor Foster’s potential go-ahead lay-up just rimmed out, allowing the Tigers to escape with the win.

Milford rode a huge second quarter to a quality Eastern Cincinnati Conference victory as the Eagles knocked off West Clermont 57-46. Leading by just four after the first eight minutes of play, Milford shot 63% in the second period, scoring 20 points to open a 14-point lead at the break. The Eagles opened their largest lead midway through the third, drawing ahead by 19 before finishing off the Wolves down the stretch.

Mason, Lakota East (one vote), Oak Hills and Princeton complete the top-five. The top ECC squads are Loveland and Turpin in a tie for seventh.
