SETTING THE SCENE: Milford will head to the Hamilton Invitational this week for the last meet of the regular season. The Eagles will look to build momentum to take into the Eastern Cincinnati Conference meet, to be held next week at Anderson.
A LOOK BACK: The Milford boys finished fourth of thirteenth teams at their own Milford Invitational. Manny Fernandez took first in the 300 meter hurdles and second in the 110 hurdles; Dustin took second place in the 400 meter dash, and Harris Craycraft crossed the finish in third place in the 1600 meter run.

The squad made the trek to Loveland for the Dawn DeHart Invitational on Friday. A number of events were completed before severe weather cancelled the remainder of the meet. At the close of competition, Milford was in sixth place with 39 points. The ECC was dominating, as Loveland (96) and Kings (93 were leading the competition.

POLL WATCH: Mason remained the top team in week five of the Cincinnati Enquirer’s area coaches’ poll, with LaSalle and Sycamore in second and third respectively. St. Xavier moved to fourth from fifth, and the ECC’s Loveland moved up from sixth to fifth. Kings fell to seventh from fifth. Withrow (9) and Turpin (3) were the only ECC programs to receive votes in week five; Milford did not receive votes in the most recent poll.
