Posted on: May 16, 2018

The Milford High School Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Dave Fallis will be recommended for the position of head coach of the Eagles’ girls basketball program at the next Milford Exempted Village School District Board of Education meeting. Pending board approval, Fallis will join the Milford program after spending the last nine years as the head coach of the girls varsity program at Bethel-Tate High School. The recommendation of Coach Fallis will be voted on at the next board meeting on June 21.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity here at Milford High School,” Fallis stated. “I can’t wait to meet the team and coaches. It will be an honor and a privilege to coach in the ECC and to represent the Milford School District.”

Fallis has enjoyed great success during his nine seasons at Bethel-Tate, compiling a 140-80 overall record. Over the past four seasons, Fallis’ teams have advanced to the OHSAA Tournament Sectional Finals four times, captured a district championship in 2016 and a runner-up finish one year later. In 2017, Fallis led Bethel-Tate to the school’s first Southern Buckeye Athletic Academic Conference Championship in 27 years.

“I can’t wait to get started,” Fallis added. “My commitment to the players and parents will be to assist in the development of the team and the individual skills and knowledge required to compete at a high level. This will be accompanied by developing life skills that will be beneficial both on and off the court.”

Fallis graduated from McNicholas High School where he played basketball and went to the Final Four in the OHSAA Tournament his junior and senior years.

The following are some of Coach Fallis’ accomplishments during his tenure at Bethel-Tate:
