Eagle Football Looks To Take Flight At Walnut Hills

SETTING THE SCENE: The start of the 2021 Eastern Cincinnati Conference schedule has arrived along with Week 3 of the season and it will see Milford hit the road to Walnut Hills. The Battle of the Eagles will pit a pair of 1-1 teams who are both coming off of shutout defeats. Milford fell to Lakota East by a 35-0 final last week, while Walnut was the victim of a 20-0 decision to former ECC member Withrow.

Notable 2021 Performances 

  • Junior RB Natwan Webster enjoyed the second 100-yard rushing game of his career in Week 1 against Edgewood, finishing with 149 yards on just 15 carries. He also gained 133 yards last year against Turpin.
  • Sophomore WR Reese Davis had a big performance in his first varsity game vs. Edgewood with 141 yards receiving. He along with Chase Duesing (124 yards) became the first Eagle duo since September 2019 (Vince Ringland & Max Ward) vs. Loveland to each top 100 yards in the same game.
  • In just the sixth full game of his career, junior QB Austin Hardin tossed four touchdowns or more for the third time against Edgewood. He has 18 TDs and nearly 1,800 yards to date.
