Notable 2021 Performances

  • Junior RB Natwan Webster enjoyed the second 100-yard rushing game of his career in Week 1 against Edgewood, finishing with 149 yards on just 15 carries. He also gained 133 yards last year against Turpin.
  • Sophomore WR Reese Davis had a big performance in his first varsity game vs. Edgewood with 141 yards receiving. He along with Chase Duesing (124 yards) became the first Eagle duo since September 2019 (Vince Ringland & Max Ward) vs. Loveland to each top 100 yards in the same game.
  • In just the sixth full game of his career, junior QB Austin Hardin tossed four touchdowns or more for the third time against Edgewood. He has 18 TDs and nearly 1,800 yards to date.
  • Senior WR Chase Duesing went over 100 yards receiving for the second time this season in the Walnut Hills win. Duesing hauled in six passes for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It marked the third 100-yard game of his career.
  • Sophomore RB/LB Tofa Luani made huge contributions on both sides of the ball in the win over Turpin. Luani rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns, while recording a pair of sacks on defense.
  • Senior DL Cam Zoromski had the game of his career in the Turpin win. In addition to helping keep the Spartan run game to just 55 yards, Zoromski had a game-high 11 tackles, including four sacks.
  • Tofa Luani had a second straight monster rushing performance as he matched the school record with six rushing touchdowns against Loveland. He finished with 180 yards on the ground.
  • Natwan Webster had his second 100-yard game of the season against the Tigers, finishing with a career-high 182.
  • Junior LB Nick Scally was outstanding against Winton Woods, finishing with a career-high 13 tackles, the second double digit tackle game of his career. It was the most by an Eagle since Jacob Smith had 16 against Lebanon in last year’s season finale.
  • Despite being undersized as a nose guard, senior Nick Klenk came up big, leading a solid defensive effort by the Eagles in their win over Little Miami. Nick finished the night with a game-high 12 tackles, along with 1.5 sacks.
  • Going against the high-octane Anderson passing game, Jaxon Stickle finished with 11 total tackles (10 solo) and two pass break-ups. He continued his fine season on special teams as well, totaling 36 yards on kickoff returns.
  • Sophomore Sawyer Copp and junior Natwan Webster have been instrumental in one of the league's top rushing attacks all season and were again against Lebanon. Sawyer finished that game with a season-high 94 yards, while Natwan added 72. Each player also found the end zone for a rushing touchdown as the Eagles finished with 172 yards rushing.
