Eagles Drop Football Season-Finale At Glen Este

Posted on: October 28, 2016

Squaring off against an emotionally-charged Glen Este team playing its final game in school history, the Milford High School football team couldn’t overcome the fired up Trojans, dropping a 29-14 decision in its season finale on Friday night.

Chase Witte broke loose for a 48-yard touchdown run for Milford’s first score and finished the night with 112 yards on the ground. His fifth 100-yard game of the season pushed the senior over 1,000 yards for the year as he finished with 1,099, becoming the first Eagle since Nathan Termuhlen (1,189) in 2010 to top the 1,000-yard rushing plateau. Junior Sam Pickett found the end zone for the first time in his career for Milford’s other score on a nine-yard rush. The Eagles end the season at 2-8 overall and 1-6 in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
