Posted on: August 18, 2022

SETTING THE SCENE: The 2022 prep football season has arrived and the Milford Eagles, under the leadership of veteran head coach Tom Grippa will be out to improve on a 7-5 campaign from last season. Grippa, now in his sixth season on the Eagle sideline, has led Milford to the playoffs in four of the previous five seasons, during the richest stretch of success in school history. The Eagles will count on several returning starters on defense, along with three-year starting QB Austin Hardin to lead the way. They also feature a powerful stable of running backs in Natwan Webster, Tofa Luani and Sawyer Copp who combined for over 1,800 yards on the ground one year ago.
