Eagles Place Three On All-ECC Girls Golf Squads

The 2017 Milford High School girls golf is represented on the All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference squads by a trio of players, with Casey Broxterman, the only senior, leading the way as a first team selection. Bre Severns earned a berth on the second team, while Megan Loux was Milford’s honorable mention choice for this year.

 

Broxterman concluded her final high school campaign as the 12th-ranked golfer in the ECC, averaging 47.3 over 144 regular season rounds. She tied for 13th at the league championship tournament and shared 37th place at the OHSAA Sectional event. This marks the third consecutive year that Broxterman has earned All-ECC first team honors.

 

Severns, a junior, is now a three-time all-conference selection. For the year, Severns finished 19th among league players with a 49.9 average in 144 holes of action. In ECC Tournament play, she finished tied for 20th, while tying for 24th at Sectionals.

 

Loux was Milford’s top finisher at both the ECC (T-11th) and Sectional (T-20th) events this fall. A second team all-league choice one year ago, Loux finished her sophomore year 21st among conference players with a 50.3 season average.

 

Milford finished 2017 with a fourth place finish in the final ECC standings, while placing eighth in the team standings at the OHSAA Sectional Tournament.
