ECC CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND FOR MILFORD WRESTLERS

THE UPCOMING ECC TOURNAMENT:   Milford’s wrestling team will head to Loveland High School on Sat., Feb. 16 for the Eastern Cincinnati Conference Championships. 

The action is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am.  

The Eagles finished the 2018 Eastern Cincinnati Conference Championships in third place, their best finish since taking third in 2014 and the highest since the inception of the ECC. 

All nine Milford athletes competing at the 2018 ECC Championships placed in the top four or higher. 

Kobey Bronaugh passed the 100 win mark on his way to a 2018 Championship.  He dominated the 126 weight class and earned his 100th career win in the second match of the day to become the 7th wrestler in program history to claim 100 victories, and the first to accomplish it as a junior.

Max Ward, at #120, also won an ECC individual championship, and Isaac Sheldon was the runner-up at #132.

Other placers in 2018 currently on the roster:

Jack Ward (#152), 4th place

Justin Bell (#170), 4th place

Derek Elliott (#160), 4th place

Jonah Fouts (#113), 4th place

Mason Roy (#145), 4th place

With 307 points Loveland won the 2018 ECC championship tournament, their second consecutive title, followed by West Clermont (187) and Milford (121).
