GAME REWIND

Kings scored seven of the game’s final 10 points as the Knights swept the season series over Milford on the strength of a 44-40 win. The Eagles’ Morgan Hills created the fifth tie of the game at the 3:20 mark of the fourth quarter, but Milford was held scoreless for nearly three minutes as the Knights eased into the lead. Earlier, Milford put together a huge second quarter (19-9) to overcome a slow first quarter and take a 24-23 lead at the half.

GAME REWIND

Milford dominated the second and third quarters, outscoring Withrow 30-10 to knock off the Tigers for the second time this season, 54-35. The Eagles were especially dominant in the third, holding Withrow to 0-11 shooting from the field and just two points. Milford did its damage in the middle two frames after leading just 13-11 after eight minutes of action.

Milford suffered through a difficult third quarter that stymied its upset bid of West Clermont as the Wolves pulled away for a 60-46 victory. WC led just 27-26 at the half, but outscored the Eagles by a 17-5 count in period three to go in front by a comfortable margin. Milford played particularly well in the second quarter, outscoring the Wolves 16-13 to draw within one at the break.
