Five Eagles Earn All-ECC Cross Country Honors

The Milford cross country squads were represented by five selections on the 2022 All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference teams. Of the choices, three come from the boys squad with the remaining two members of the girls team.

On the boys side, sophomore Charlie Vause, who will compete at the OHSAA State Championships this weekend, was first team, while classmate D.J. Chadwell, Jr. was on the second team. Freshman Paul Dumont was the Eagles’ honorable mention choice.

From the girls team, sophomore Ali Maglecic landed on the second team while classmate Claire McFarland picked up honorable mention.

The boys squad finished third at this season’s ECC Championships, while also qualifying as a team for regionals after an identical third place tally at districts. The girls were fifth at the ECC meet and seventh at districts.
