  • For the second straight season, senior RB Caleb Johns opened the season with a strong performance on the ground. On just five carries, Johns accounted for 94 yards.
  • After seeing limited action at QB last season and throwing 1 TD, senior Vince Ringland tossed three in the opener against Oak Hills. Ringland found Natwan Webster and Ibrahima Niang for each player’s first TD as an Eagle, while also connecting with Payton Bauer.

RINGLAND EARNS PRESEASON NOD: Senior Vince Ringland was won of several players across the tri-state area to earn preseason recognition from the website Tristatefootball.com. Ringland was named an honorable mention selection as an athlete. As a junior, Ringland started games at both QB and WR, while also handling kickoff and punting chores for the Eagles. His play as a punter earned him second-team all-district accolades.
