Football Report: September 4

Turpin showed while they will once again be in contention for the Eastern Cincinnati Conference title as the defending league champs surged past Milford by a 49-14 score during Week 2 of the 2020 season. The Spartans scored all seven of their touchdowns in the first half, before Milford finally cracked the scoreboard with two TDs in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Natwan Webster, in just his second start as an Eagle, rushed for 133 yards, while finding the endzone from five yards out for his first rushing TD of the campaign. His rushing total was the most by a Milford player since Cameron Kells gained 152 yards against Turpin on October 26, 2018.

The Eagles other score came from promising freshman Sioni Lunai who raced in from 22 yards out early in the fourth quarter. Senior Tahj Price also turned in a solid performance in the return game, collecting 95 yards on six kickoff returns.
