Four Eagles Earn All-ECC Boys Swimming Honors
Milford’s state qualifying foursome of Evan Fentress, Owen Ferrara, Paul Menker and Nick Welty have been rewarded for their outstanding seasons with a total of six All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference honors. Evan leads the way as a three-time selection, including a first team accolade.
Evan was the ECC Champion in the 200 freestyle to earn All-ECC first team with a winning time of 1:44.23. He’s a second team honoree after taking runner-up in the 100 butterfly with a mark of 49.73.
Owen is also a second team All-ECC award winner after taking second place in the 200 IM in 2:01.57. Nick was Milford’s honorable mention for his third place finish in the 100 freestyle (52.03) and fourth place mark in the 100 backstroke (56.92).
Evan, Owen, Paul and Nick were also two-time All-ECC second team award winners for taking runner-up honors in the 400 freestyle (3:20.12) and 200 medley relays (1:40.65).
