November 24 at Kings
A fast start, a halftime deficit, a battle down the stretch and a dominating overtime performance by Milford were all storylines in a hotly contested 60-53 Eagle victory over Kings on Tuesday night. Behind a career-high 21 points from Miah O’Toole, the Eagles delivered head coach Dave Fallis the 150th victory of his coaching career.

Milford started the night hot, shooting 54% from the field in the first quarter, but making just 1 of 6 from the floor in the second as Kings rallied to take a 30-22 lead at the break. The Eagles made the necessary adjustments at the half, scoring 16 of the third period’s 21 points to lead 38-35 with eight minutes left.

The fourth quarter was a nail-biter until the end with O’Toole burying a three-pointer with 34 seconds left the tie the game at 51. Kings had a chance to go ahead in the waning seconds, but missed a pair of free throws, leading to OT.

The bonus session was all Eagles as they outscored the Knights by a 9-2 count. Paige Ayler and Kaylie McKenney owned OT, combining for all nine Milford points along with six rebounds.
