December 3 at Walnut Hills
Kaylie McKenney scored a career-high 16 points and Milford got a huge contribution off the bench from Carly Stinson as an outstanding team effort led the Eagles to a 49-33 win over Walnut Hills. The victory, Milford’s third of the year, marked the squad’s first victory over Walnut Hills since January 2015.

Milford started slow, trailing by four after the first eight minutes, but lock down defense in the second quarter led to a 12-3 MHS run and a 19-14 lead at the break. The Eagles maintained their lead throughout the quarter, actually growing the advantage to double digits for the first time at 29-19 with just over 2:30 remaining.

The fourth quarter continued to be all Milford as it outscored Walnut by a 17-7 score in the frame. The league ballooned to a game-high 21 with under three minutes to go as Milford closed out its second ECC road victory of the year.
