Girls Bowling Team Takes Second at Sectionals; At Districts Wednesday

The girls bowling team has advanced to the Division I OHSAA District Tournament.

For the second consecutive year, the Lady Eagles were the Sectional tournament runners-up at the OHSAA Division I Bowling Sectional Tournament.

The ladies were led by junior Jessica Haines, who finished fifth overall in individual scores, with a three game series of 507.

The girls earned a second place finish of fifteen teams, and the top seven teams will advance to the District Tournament. Lebanon claimed the Sectional championship, followed by Milford, West Clermont, Mt. Notre Dame, Wilmington, Turpin, and Middletown.

A LOOK AHEAD: The Lady Eagles will compete at the OHSAA District Tournament on Wed., Feb. 28 at Beaver-Vu Lanes near Dayton.
