Girls Bowling Traveling to Finneytown, Turpin In Week Ahead

THE UPCOMING DOCKET:  As the season winds down, the Eagles will head to Finneytown for a non-conference date followed by the first of two with Turpin.  Looking ahead, the regular season will end next week when Milford celebrates senior day as they host their final home match.

Monday, Feb. 4:         Milford at Finneytown High School, Brentwood Bowl, 3:45 pm

Wednesday, Feb. 6:   Milford at Turpin High School, Cherry Grove Lanes, 3:45 pm

 

A LOOK BACK:

January 29 at Milford:  Milford 2127, Walnut Hills 1785

Reagan Hodges set a new series high of 406, and led the Eagles to an ECC win over Walnut Hills.  Rounding out the Eagles: Jessica Norman recorded a 372 series; Reaghan Kaylor rolled a two-game series of 302; Fallon Austin (262); and Samantha Miller (249).

 

January 31 at Milford:  Milford 2145, Walnut Hills 1857

Milford’s second win over Walnut Hills completed the sweep, with steady play in two games by all five Eagles; Kaylor (342), Norman (334), Hodges (280), Miller (271), and Austin (262).

  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: West Clermont, who moved to 9-0 after wins over Anderson, will play Loveland (8-2) this week in a series that will likely determine the ECC championship.  They are followed by Milford who moved up to third, now with a 6-4 record.  Turpin fell to (5-4), followed by Kings (4-5), Walnut Hills (2-9) and Anderson (0-10).

West Clermont continues to dominate the ECC in team average (792.4), followed by Milford (730.7), Turpin (706.1), Loveland (703.2) and Kings (700.3) rounding out the top five.

A look at Milford’s individual statistical leaders in the ECC as of Feb. 3:

Average: Kaylor (5th – 164.4); Norman (6th – 162.5); Hodges (7th – 155.0)

High Game: Hodges (1st – 267); Norman (4th – 243)

Series High: Hodges (4th – 406); Norman (5th – 402); Kaylor (10th – 374)
