A LOOK BACK: April 9 at Loveland: Archrival Loveland proved too much for the Eagles as the Tigers rolled to a 23-2 victory. Sarah Cardell accounted for both of Milford’s goals in the defeat.

 

April 11 at Notre Dame Academy: The Milford offense was limited once again as Notre Dame Academy handed the Eagles an 8-2 setback. Grace Powers and Casey Roeder each scored goals in the defeat for Milford.

 

April 13 vs. Madeira: Milford broke out of its recent offensive slump with a convincing 16-3 victory over Madeira. It was a big day for Sarah Cardell as the sophomore tallied six goals to push her over 100 scored for her career. She also added two assists. Freshman Gilliam Roeder also had a breakout performance, registering four goals. Senior Katie Prior found the back of the net twice, while Sarah Ehrman, Sydney Hogan, Casey Roeder and Lindsay Schaeffer each scored once. Casey Roeder added an assist, as did Alexis Montalvo and Grace Powers.

 

April 17 at Ursuline: Five more goals by Sarah Cardell weren’t enough as the Eagles fell by a 20-7 score to Ursuline. Senior Sydney Hogan picked up a pair of goals on the night, with classmate Casey Roeder picking up an assist.

 

April 18 vs. Lebanon: Senior Night ended in heartbreak for the Eagles as they fell in overtime by an 11-10 score to Lebanon. Three Milford players notched multiple goals, led by Sarah Cardell with four. Grace Powers and Katie Prior each scored twice, with Sydney Hogan and Gillian Roeder scoring one each.
