Girls Track and Field Win at New Richmond; Head to Anderson Invitational

THE UPCOMING DOCKET: The Eagles, along with a number of fellow ECC teams, will next head to the Anderson Invitational. Preliminaries, and some select events as finals, will be held on Thurs., April 18, while finals will be held on Fri., April 19. In 2018, Milford finished fifth of 21 teams, near the top along with four other ECC league teams. The Eagles were led by Andrea Armstrong who won the 400 meter dash and the long jump, and Haley Rodeffer with second place finishes in both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles.

A LOOK BACK: April 10 at New Richmond Invitational

With another team championship at the New Richmond Invite, Milford’s girls varsity track and field team captured the three-peat having won the championship in both 2017 and 2018.

The ladies won nine events, including a sweep of the relay events. Senior Andrea Armstrong won the 100, 200, and 400 meter dash, as well as the long jump, and Haley Rodeffer won the 300 meter hurdles. Jade Avance, Madison Chitwood, Ashley Dargis, and Meredith Goff won both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays. Avance, Abby Carnathan, Alicia Viola-Prioli and Ellie Redrow won the 4x400.
