Posted on: November 15, 2022

Milford defensive coordinator Jimmy Grippa has been honored by the Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association as Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2022 season.

Coach Grippa opened the season by filling in as acting head coach for the Eagles first two games as his father and head coach Tom Grippa recovered from a health issue. Milford went 2-0 with the younger Grippa at the helm. He also led an Eagle defense that improved throughout the season and ranked fourth in the ECC during the regular season in scoring and rushing defense.
