Horn, Watson Earn Boys Golf All-District Honors

A splendid season turned in by Milford junior boys golfer Adam Horn received another accolade when he was recently named first team all-district by the Southwest Ohio Golf Coaches’ Association. The honor comes on the heels of Horn’s second first team All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference recognition.

In addition, senior Cole Watson was named honorable mention by the coaches for his play this fall.

This season, Horn qualified for the OHSAA District Championship for the third time in as many years and was the ECC Postseason Tournament individual champion. He tied for ninth at sectionals and 41st at districts. His regular season average of 36.9 was best among all league players.

Watson is now a two-time All-ECC second team selection and also earned honorable mention as a freshman. During his senior year, Watson was eighth in the league with a 40.1 average, placed fifth at the ECC Tourney and was tied for 15th at sectionals.

Horn is the only ECC player to earn all-district first team honors. Adam’s older brother Justin, was a two-time second team all-district selection.
