Jaxon Stickle Wins Dice Baseball World Series

Looking for a fun way to keep the players engaged during the novel coronavirus pandemic, junior varsity baseball coach Larry Chialastri organized a series of dice baseball games for interested players. When the smoke cleared, sophomore Jaxon Stickle was the World Series winner, knocking off senior Hunter Frank.

According to Coach Chialastri, the Series went three games with Nolan Ryan getting the win in a 10-9 game one battle. Sandy Koufax lost 15-13 in game two, before Bob "the god" Gibson won game three, 14-4. 

Jaxon and Hunter were awarded Chipotle gift cards for their efforts. Jaxon also won for having the top home run hitter with Barry Bonds hitting 11. Coach Tim Disbennett and JT had the most strikeouts with Johnny Cueto notching 125 Ks.
