Kells, Foster Earn All-Ohio Honors

Posted on: November 28, 2018

Following his record setting senior year, Milford senior RB Cameron Kells has added another accolade to his resume as he was named second team All-Ohio by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. In addition, fellow senior Connor Foster was named special mention all-state.

Eagle fans won’t soon forget the campaign turned in by Kells as he was named the Eastern Cincinnati Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year and a first team All-Southwest District choice. For the year, Kells led the ECC in rushing with 1,607 yards and 29 touchdowns. A dangerous receiving threat as well, Kells was third on the team in both receptions (34) and receiving yards (348), adding four more touchdowns for a total of 33 on the year. The rushing yards and touchdown totals were all the most by a Milford player in at least the decade.

Foster, headed for Northwestern University next season, was also a first team All-ECC and Southwest District award recipient. A force on both side of the ball at tight end and defensive end, Foster was nearly unguardable at 6’8” tall. On offense, he hauled in 18 passes for 292 yards and four touchdowns and was a key blocker for Kells and the running game. He added 26 tackles and three pass break-ups on defense.
