Kings, Milford Invitational on Tap for Milford Wrestling

THE UPCOMING DOCKET:  Milford will travel to Kings for a mid-week bout on the mats, then host the annual Milford Invitational Tournament this weekend, where the action will get underway at 9:30 am.

At the 2018 Milford Invite, Kobey Bronaugh claimed his third consecutive MIT championship in the #132 bracket.  At #120, Ray Clayton placed second.  Suffering from some injuries and illness, the Eagles took 11th place of 17 teams.

 

Wednesday, January 23:         Milford at Kings High School, 6:00 pm

Saturday, January 26:              Milford @ Milford Invitational, Milford High School, 9:30 am

Indian Hill 38, Milford 32

The Eagles lost at home to Simon Kenton and a close match to Indian Hill as well.  Double winners for Milford with 2 falls each: Ray Clayton (#126), Connor Hawkins (#184), and Hayden Harvey (#285).  

Freshman Wes Prather (#195) scored his first varsity win, securing the takedown in overtime.
