MHS Bowling Tryout Dates and Important Information

Important Dates to Know for MHS Bowling Tryouts and Other Important Information

Prior to Tryouts:

  • Register with Final Forms at milfordathletics.org, under Registration. You and a parent must fill out all forms.  Do not wait, fill them out now.
  • You must have a physical and emergency medical form PRIOR to tryouts; get it now.

 Tryout Date/Information

  • Monday, November 6th, 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Transportation

  • All home practices and games will be held at Cherry Grove Lanes.
  • Transportation will ONLY be provided TO tryouts, practices and games. 
  • Bus will leave the cafeteria at 2:30 pm sharp each day. 
  • There will be NO transportation provided back to school; students will need to arrange transportation home from each practice and game.

 Picture Day and Fee Due Date

  • Pictures will be the week of November 13th  
  • Fees must be paid by picture day. No team members will be in the team picture if the fee has not been paid, or other arrangements have been made.
  • The fee for all athletic participants is $175.00 for first sport; $85.00 for second sport; $500.00 family cap.

Craft Show

  • Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd
  • All bowlers will help boosters at Craft Show. 

 

These are important rules set by the OHSAA and will be enforced if you make the team.

  • Dress Code – The shirt is supplied by MHS.  You must supply your own standard black long pants (Dockers are a good example) which must be worn at the waist and may not drag on the floor.  NO CARGO PANTS or JEANS ALLOWED.  Shirts must be tucked in.
  • Electronic Devices – NO electronic devices are to be used during matches or practice by bowlers, team members, or coaches.
  • Bowlers – All bowlers must remain in their own areas at all times.
  • Language and Behavior – Improper language and behavior will not be tolerated and will be dealt with by the coaches and athletic department rules.  Bullying and taunting of teammates and other teams will mean dismissal from team.  You not only represent Milford High School but you also represent your family and yourself.
  • Being disrespectful to any coach is an automatic dismissal from team.
