The girls bowling team advanced to the Division I OHSAA District Tournament by taking seventh place at the 2018 Sectionals.  The Eagles were the final team to qualify for the upcoming Sectional tournament this week.

The ladies were led by Reaghan Kaylor, who finished 8th overall of the 86 individuals, with a three-game series of 518.   Kaylor was joined by teammates Reagan Hodges (24th), Samantha Miller (32nd), Fallon Austin (42nd), and Jessica Norman (49th), all of whom contributed with three games each.

On the boys side, A.J. Kaylor qualified with the seventh highest individual score of those not advancing as a member of a team.  He recording a three-game series total of 513 (151, 174, 188) for a 171 average while at the tournament on Thurs., Feb. 21.

The girls team hopes that the fourth time is the charm, as they qualified but were unable to advance out of Districts to the State tournament the last three years.  In 2018, Milford’s girls team, with current members Reagan Hodges and Jessica Norman, ended the tournament in 16th place of the 24 teams.  The previous year, 2017, the Eagles finished 12th, up from a 20th place finish in 2016.

In 2018, then-senior Nathan McGeorge ended his MHS career at the District Tournament.  McGeorge tied for 52nd of 157 individuals.  The teams from 2017 and 2016 were unable to advance out of the District tournament as well.
