Milford HS Mourns Passing Of Former Golf Coach Doug Kassen

Milford High School is saddened to learn of the recent passing of longtime teacher and head boys golf coach Doug Kassen. Coach Kassen was inducted into the Milford Athletic Boosters Club Hall of Fame in 2008, along with the state champion 1989 boys golf team. He taught at Milford from 1970 through 2000 and led the golf program from 1975 until his retirement in 2009.

 

“Coach Kassen was a huge part of Milford Schools and Milford Athletics for a very long time,” stated Director Athletics Mark Trout. “He made a lasting positive impact on many students and athletes, especially in our boys golf program!”

 

Arrangements for Mr. Kassen are being handled by TP White Funeral Home in Mt. Washington; services are being finalized.
