SETTING THE SCENE: After a hiatus, the Milford Invitational returns this week to Bill Marran Track at Milford High School. Last week the boys track team posted one of their best finishes since attending the Anderson Invitational over the past several years, and will take that energy into the last two weeks of competition prior to the Eastern Cincinnati Conference meet.
A LOOK BACK: The Milford boys placed fourth of eighteen teams following two wet days of competition at the Anderson Invitational. The dominance of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference was evident, as Milford finished behind Loveland and Kings who tied for first place and Anderson in third; Milford finished just 6 points behind Anderson in fourth.

A LOOK AHEAD: The Milford track and field teams will be at home this week, as MHS hosts its own Milford Invitational. Schools scheduled to attend for the boys track and field competition include Milford (A & B), Mount Healthy (A & B), Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, McNicholas, Anderson, Moeller, Madeira, New Richmond, Purcell Marion, and Turpin.
INSIDE THE ECC: The following Milford athletes/events fall in the top ten in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
Relays:
POLL WATCH: Mason maintained the first position in the rankings of the Division I coaches’ poll for week four. LaSalle continued in second, but the ECC’s Kings jumped a spot for the second week in a row, to third. Loveland moved from seventh to fourth, where they are tied with Sycamore. Withrow held at sixth, but is tied with St. Xavier. Anderson enters the poll in tenth. Walnut Hills received four votes this week. The Milford boys team did not receive votes in the current poll.
